Hilltop House is located California Hot Springs, on the southern edge of the
Giant Sequoia National Monument
in the
Sierra Nevada
foothills, at about 3,500 feet in elevation. About 20 minutes east of Hilltop is the southernmost stand of Giant Sequoia trees (Sequoiadendron giganteum) – the largest trees on earth – on the southern end of the National Monument.
Hilltop was built on the section of land owned by the proprietors of the California Hot Springs resort and it is nestled on a hill above the resort pool and hot tubs.
